Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
This policy explains what data [Company legal name] ("we") handles to run the shipping label service.
1. What we collect
- Your account: email address and login data (managed by our authentication provider).
- Store connections: Veeqo/ShipStation API keys you give us, stored encrypted and never shown again.
- Your buyers' order data: buyer name, shipping address, phone (if provided), ordered items, personalization choices (for example Amazon Custom), and order notes, read from your store to create labels and packing slips.
- Labels: carrier, service, tracking number, price and tracking status.
- Payments: your card is entered on Stripe's page and stored by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers; we keep only a Stripe customer reference and your wallet history.
- Security logs: to stop abuse we count requests per user and IP address, stored only as one-way hashes.
2. Why we use it
To buy labels, print labels and packing slips, send tracking numbers back to your store, show tracking status, process payments, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep financial records.
3. Who receives it
- Our label provider and the carriers (address, package and service details needed for the label).
- Veeqo / ShipStation (tracking numbers for your orders).
- Stripe (card payments).
- Our hosting and database providers, and our email provider for service notices.
We do not sell personal data.
4. How long we keep it
- Buyer personal data (address, personalization, notes) is deleted automatically 120 days after an order is finished. The order number, items, labels and amounts are kept.
- Financial records (labels, payments, wallet history) are kept for [N years] for accounting and tax purposes.
- When an account is closed, store keys and buyer data are removed; financial records are kept as above.
5. Security
Store keys are encrypted, each customer can see only their own data, and payment data stays with Stripe. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.
6. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you logged in and remember settings. No advertising cookies.
7. Your choices
You can disconnect your store at any time and ask us to close your account or answer questions about your data: [support email]. [Lawyer to add state privacy law rights, e.g. California.]
